Programming Director

Major: Anthropology/Law & Society

My goals as GCAP Programming Director are to not only increase GCAP events but also increase student turnout and make them accessible to students (especially those off-campus). I also hope to collaborate with other campus organizations to put together events and push together an initiative for a greener campus.

I hope to increase other students' engagement with GCAP by promoting and helping events run smoothly. It’s important to prioritize community engagement because together sustainability can be achieved.

The environment is something that I'm deeply passionate about and it is troubling witnessing ongoing damage to our planet. I want to work towards strengthening UCR's commitment to sustainability, specifically towards climate change, and help develop solutions in water conservation, restoration, and waste management. I'm excited to be a member of UCR's GCAP!

As a programming team member, I want to create engaging events that inspire students to learn and participate in taking action on sustainability issues. I want to emphasize the importance of reducing waste, protecting green spaces, and limiting consumption so UCR thrives as a leader in environmental action. I hope to help make sustainability a part of students' everyday life because I believe when small changes are shared by a community, large impacts can be reached.

My goal within my position is contributing to sustainability efforts and I hope to learn more about sustainability and bringing that knowledge to UCR students while making a greener campus and an impact in our environment.

I’m passionate about creating an impactful community on campus by taking sustainability initiatives. My goal is to explore innovative ways to work with different materials to reduce waste and optimize different materials for environmental impact. I want to help foster strong campus community built on sustainable practices and environmental awareness.
