The Green Campus Plan has formed a database of on-campus sustainable energy resources for students to utilize during their stay at UC Riverside.

Big Springs 2 parking structure - 92 ports
Big Springs 1 parking structure (Residence Hall/Campus Apartment permit holders only) - 8 ports

Conduct research, development, demonstration and deployment activities to address the issues associated with widespread usage of clean solar energy technologies across electricity distribution grids

Solar Panel Benches

Powered without needing to be connected to an electrical grid, they are designed for durability and longevity - the batteries can last as long as five years before they need to be replaced!

Solar Panels in Parking Lots

Over 9,600 solar panels have been installed in on-campus parking lots.
Lot 30 and 32 harbor the majority of these lots, fueling energy for the UC Riverside campus
